Ruben Quintana

Ruben Quintana’s uproarious routine about his family life sounds like a story straight out of the Old Testament. Raised in a “small” Mexican family of nine, Ruben’s mama Josefina ruled their household with old school traditions and her version of the Ten Commandments. “Thou shalt do as Mama says…or else…God will punish you!”

The dynamic saga of Ruben’s colorful life has taken him around the world with several military comedy tours in Japan and Korea. He is an all-time favorite and in constant demand from many universities, corporations and convention coordinators nationwide. Reading his name in established publications such as The Daily Variety and Hispanic magazine are always fun and exciting for Ruben; however, the real icing on the cake are the smiles and laughter that he gets from his friends, the audience. In his testimony, Ruben says, “My life was a never-ending cycle of emptiness. I believed all the lies that the enemy had set before me, sacrificed everything I had and chased 'stardom.' …It’s a miracle that I even survived…My passion and desire as God’s comedian is to be used by Him in every way possible to reach those 'lost sheep.' If I can take you for an hour of your day and bring you into a place of joy and laughter, then I as an entertainer have fulfilled my calling.”
