May 1 - Decorate for Mother's Day
Now is the time to put up your Mother's Day Banners and to empower your members with personal invitations they can give their friends and family.
May 12 - Mother's Day
Welcome families to your church and connect them to your ministries. Mother's Day is a great time to promote upcoming summer events like your VBS or Kid's Camp programs, special movie nights and outdoor activities. Make sure you have invitations and posters promoting these events and be prepared to take registrations!
May 26 - Memorial Day Weekend
The unofficial end of the ministry season is also a great weekend to honor heroes in your community. Consider inviting Active Duty Military, Veterans, Police and Firefighters to your service and recognize their sacrifices in a special service. Send your small groups out to make the invitations the week before and partner with local businesses to offer your honorees discounts or gift cards to local restaurants.
