Bill and Pam Farrel are international speakers and relationship specialists, dedicating themselves to building up marriages and families. They co-founded Love-Wise, an organization that connects love to wisdom to provide practical insights for personal relationships. Bill and Pam are popular keynote speakers for marriage, family and men’s/ women’s events, including the American Association of Christian Counselors Day of Marriage and LifeWay’s Festivals of Marriage. The Cabinet of the Government of Singapore invited Bill and Pam to speak to college students and singles, then asked them to return to speak to marrieds and train leaders. The Farrels have also spoken for numerous churches, including Saddleback and Purpose Driven events, Elmbrook, Shadow Mountain Community and several other of Outreach Top 100 churches.

Bill holds a master’s of divinity with an emphasis in practical theology and counseling. Bill has experience as a Lead Pastor for 15 years, a youth pastor, and more recently, the Small Groups Pastor for Dr. David Jeremiah. Bill is a popular speaker for men’s groups including Promise Keepers’ Canada and Iron Sharpening Iron. Pam is a sought-after speaker for women's events and conferences and has experience as a youth worker, senior pastor’s wife, radio talk show host, writer and speaker. She has spoken for s conference centers, churches and groups like 6,000 moms at Hearts at Home.

Bill and Pam have authored over 35 books, including  the best-selling Men are like Waffles and Women are like Spaghetti, sparking a DVD-based small-group curriculum. Their books have been endorsed by such Christian leaders as Stormie Omartian, Steve Arterburn, Michele McKinney Hammond, John Trent,  Fern Nichols, Carol Kent, Stuart and Jill Briscoe, Dave and Claudia Arp, Anita Renfroe and others. The Farrels also regularly contribute to a number of periodicals, columns and publications on the subject of relationships and appear as relationship specialists on talk-shows. Bill Farrel has been impacting lives for 20 years as a Senior Pastor, Youth Pastor and conference speaker. He is currently on staff at Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, California, (Sr. Pastor David Jeremiah) where he is the Pastor of Small Groups. He has co-authored with his wife, Pam, Men are Like Waffles, Women are Like Spaghetti (Harvest House), Pure Pleasure: Making Your Marriage a Great Affair (co-authored with Jim and Sally Conway), Marriage in the Whirlwind: Seven Skills for Couples Who Can’t Slow Down (InterVarsity Press), Love, Honor and Forgive (InterVarsity Press) and their newest book Red Hot Monogomy. Bill has also written Devotions for Men on the Go (co-authored with Steven Arteburn).

Bill came to know Christ at age 16, after watching the film The Exorcist, and has since discovered freedom from fear, freedom from guilt and freedom to achieve God’s best. Bill then attended Talbot Theological Seminary at Biola University and graduated with and MDIV in Practical Theology with an emphasis in counseling. His “LifeCoaching” method of helping people achieve their God given potential has helped thousands. Bill thinks that God has designed life to be a great adventure. In fact, his favorite theological word is “WOW!”

He is a frequent guest on radio and TV. His practical teachings, sprinkled with humor and real life illustrations challenge and encourage all audiences. Bill is a powerful role model. He is the father of three active boys, ages 13 to 19 who all love football, along with various other sports. Bill and his sons have spearheaded an annual Father/Son Fishing trip, an annual TurkeyBowl, and his oldest son, Brock, was named San Diego Citizen of the Year in 2002.

Pam has impacted women’s lives with her experience as an international speaker, Director of Women’s Ministry, radio co-host, newspaper columnist, pastor’s wife, youth leader and mentor. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English from California State University, San Marcos, and has authored or co-authored over 20 books, including best-selling Men are Like Waffles, Women are Like Spaghetti; Women of Influence: Ten Traits of Those Who Want to Make a Difference; 10 Best Decisions a Women Can Make; Devotions for Women on the Go! ; Women of Confidence; and Got Teens? (co-authored with Jill Savage). Pam has also authored many marriage and family books with husband, Bill Farrel, including their newest books Red Hot Monogomy and 10 Best Decisions a Parent Can Make.
